The Oyster Society
About the Restaurant
The Oyster Society has a cool Jazz Age vibe that hearkens back to the good ol’ days. Run by the Carvelli family, guests here are treated to a high-end, Great Gatsby-eqsue evening of fine dining. The family has some seriously high standards when it comes to the freshness of their ingredients and the service provided to their patrons.
History
The Carvelli family opened The Oyster Society in late 2017, and the restaurant took right off. They had experienced so much success with their other restaurants (DaVinci’s, which opened in 1996 and Marco Prime Steaks and Seafood, which opened in 2013) that it only seemed natural to create a fine dining restaurant centered around oysters.
Menu
The Oyster Society’s main menu looks like it was ripped right from a 1920’s high-end restaurant. You can order Stacks to Share (like the New Orleans Hot Pot) or from The Oyster & Raw Bar, which lets you choose from a Chef’s Dozen of four varieties of oysters (three per variety) or a Society Sushi Platter. If that doesn’t appeal to your palette, try The Funky Buddha from the Sushi Bar or the Roasted Chicken from the Chef’s Specialties List.
Make sure you grab something delicious to drink! You can choose from The Classics, a lovely list of cocktails, seasonal drinks, champagne, aromatic whites, draft beers, and more. The drink list is just as impressive as the food menu.

Snook Inn
About the Restaurant
Snook Inn is situated right on the water, so drive, walk from the rentals on Marco Island, or bring your boat in! There is a Chickee Bar, from where you can watch dolphins swim past.
History
Snook Inn has been serving Marco Island for over thirty years, providing excellent seafood and live music every night of the week.
Menu
Snook Inn serves up Island Time Snacks like the Crispy Calamari and an array of soups and salads. The Raw Bar has Aqua-Pure Oysters that are blast pasteurized and are farm-bred in the Galveston Bay. You can also get Shrimp Your Way, yummy Fish N’ Chips, or a Craft Sandwich. The groupers are also popular choices for couples dining in.
Happy Hour runs from 4 to 6 p.m. every day, and from 10 p.m. to midnight, there is a late-night happy hour.

Kretch’s
About the Restaurant
Kretch’s Restaurant is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy seafood. Need to eat gluten-free? You can do so there! They are a family-owned, family-friendly place with something for everyone.
History
Owner and chef Bruce Kretschmer started Kretch’s in 1986. The building has been there for a while, having once been Mancuso’s Deli in ‘Old Marco.’ The building also once homed Jack’s Gone Bananas, a beloved juice bar.
In 2009, a new bar was added to Kretch’s, and it has turned into a place where the owners and staff will get to know you by name.
Menu
Kretch’s menu will have you leaving your Marco Island condo rentals for a bite to eat. Go with the lighter side and pick the Firecracker Chicken Skewers tossed with sweet chili sauce. Or, you can go heavier with an entrée, which comes with soup du jour, tossed salad, a homemade Caesar salad, or cottage cheese and tomato. You also get a choice of your side and homemade bread.
