I have been going to Marco for decades and the last few years my family has been renting houses for the last few years. This probably the 5 or 6 house we’ve stayed in and this was fantastic. Locations key and this was about a 0.5 mile walk to beach. Having 2 wagons to pull the kids and beach items was great. It’s also that distance to Marco Walk Plaza which has multiple higher end restaurants.
The house it self was very modern and well appointed. 2 bedrooms on the main level included the primary suite with a huge bathroom and walk-in shower. The is one guest room with its own bathroom and another full bathroom with access direct to the pool. Up stairs is another smaller guest suite and another guest bedroom. Both with their own bathrooms. There is also a media room upstairs with a huge TV and surround sound and L shaped couch. It also was a balcony overlooking a canal.
The kitchen has a good sized island, high end appliances and small walk in pantry/coffee station with a microwave. The kitchen also has every utensil and counter top appliance you could think of. It really wasn’t lacking anything. The family room and dining room adjoin the kitchen making a large space for eating, cooking, and entertaining. The entire house can be controlled by tablets setup throughout. All rooms have in-ceiling speakers and lighting that can be dimed.
The outdoor space is amazing. Initially I had concerns about there not being a pool cage which is very common. However, there were no bug issues whatsoever at the pool area. And there are remote controlled screens that come down around the outdoor eating and TV area. We now are looking for houses with a TV outside. This not only has an outdoor TV but a sitting area with a couch and 4 chairs in the separate TV area and then outdoor dining table for 8, and outdoor kitchen, with a grill, exhaust, and sink. The outdoor area was the best we’ve seen. It’s a bonus being on the canal. While we didn’t utilize the pier/dock for any boating it does add a nice few and separation from neighbors behind. The pool itself is a good size along with a connected hot tub.
Our interaction with Remax and the owner was flawless. All questions answered quickly.
